Naggar Castle to Roerich Art Gallery

The journey moves to Roerich Art Galley. The Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery, in Naggar is much more than a simple museum; it is the former home and soul of the legendary Russian painter, philosopher and explorer Nicholas Roerich. Known as the “Master of the Mountains,” Roerich lived here from 1929 until his death in 1947. The gallery is housed in a beautiful white-and-brown wooden villa (the Roerich House) surrounded by lush gardens, cedar trees and mountain views.
